The Rebel jumping minnow has been around since the early 60's & is the most versatile lure you can get for Crane Beach. The possibilities fishing this lure are endless. Well one thing stops its? Big water i.e. waves so it is not a big water lure. Nevertheless, this little guy will create an amazing side-to side action. One Other Key is its distinctive lead rattle sound that will tempt fish from far & wide! It come in one size 3 1/2 weighing in at a whopping 3/8 oz. Despite its size & weight this little guy can still fly like a bullet. As far as top water lures go this is one of the funniest lures out there. It comes with two crappie treble hooks so it's a good idea to retrofit the center hook with a strong VMC hook & leave the crappie tale hook it come with. (Hook size #6) Moreover, do not add triple split rings ect as it effects the action of the lure. The Rebel Fishing lure is extremely strong and durable so it's also a fun lure for catching blues. This lure has no sparkles or shinny paint for the blues to destroy so it last longer than other fancy lures. |

Its not a hard lure to fish just make small (light!) quick jerks as the lure goes though the water. You want to make this lure dance or "walk the dog". The only way to do this is to move it slow! Twitch the lure very slowly so that it only moves ½ on inch forward at a time. Done right each small jerk of the line with cause the lure to give off the natural action that will imitate the action of almost any injured bait fish & in return it will bring about an aggressive surface strike.
