I have dragged my Cameras over Crane Beach for the last x amount of year and have lost one to salt water in 1999! That's was the year I discovered dry bags. You have to be diligent in using them. You might not want to walk back and put you camera in the bag or close it tightly but the odds are you will lose your camera. Buy a dry bag for every electronic item you own. They come in every size and are much cheeper than a new camera.

Cheepest price Helton tent city!.

Hay you can’t put your camera in a plug bag! However, you can put two cameras in two dry bags and still have room for your lures ect.using a backpack. It much easier to carry you equipment on your back. I picked the Kelty because they last and the zippers do not rust!

What makes for fun time out fishing? Having the right gear for what you want to do! I enjoy fishing as you know but i like to combined my fishing with photography. When I go fishing I might or might not catch a fish but most of the time I bring back a picture of my fish or a nice photo. Either way I’m happy but I want to be able to come back and do it again the next day without worrying about my gear falling a part or missing a shot. This is my list of recommend camras and way for not have to write anymore e-mails about what to buy. I have used them over the last few summers when I have been fishing. I hope it helps you spend your money wisely. Plus DON'T BE THAT GUY THAT TAKES A PICTURE OF HIS FISH IN FRONT OF HIS HOUSE! A; you look like a jaskass &

B; your not Practicing catching & releasing Take a nice picture in 2010 & let the fish run free!

The Nikon D300 is one heck of a camera. I have always had a Nikon and once you pick from Nikon or Canon its hard to change because the lens you upgrade on the camera can cost more than the camera. It's like most all DLS has a CMOS sensor with twelve mega pixels, an auto-focus sensor with 51-points, the focus is tracked by color, it has scene recognition, it takes up to six frames per second continuous shooting, it has a flash and it is rugged as hell. It's has an impressive functions and its a fair step up from the D100, D90 or any digital camera you keep in your pocket. Will it be a big step up for most? Certainly but when I got this camera it was new and now its two years later you can pick one up for a fraction of the cost, crap i do not even think they make them anymore. Nevertheless, awesome camera, wick awesome customer service. so you will not be sad you got one. Call Bromfield camera in Boston to see if they have one? Key customer service; The verdict;A+
video Canon XH-A1S this is a small (well in the HD camcorder world) lighter weight HD camcorder that won’t give up capability over the even more price options that are out there. I picked this guy up last year and lugged all over Crane Beach and got some neat shots with it. With Instant AF enabled, the auto focus works quickly catches up with my fishing. You would think with all the things going on when you fishing it would not work but it really does. It has super-range opticaly 20x HD lens so you always you to get up and close to what every object you are shooting very quickly. Over all this what I us when fishing, this camera is not for the novice by any means but it is one great camera. NOW, I sent it in for cleaning and since this is my first Canon I will hold the review on the Key customer service; The verdict;D paid to get it cleaned twice! NO Customer service call back.

The Canon Rebel T2i is the option you might want to pick if you do not want to break the bank or stay budget-conscious. This camera will work like both of the above cameras above and you can still get some extra lures! The Rebel T2i is one of the most powerful DSLR for the money plain & simple! I’m more of a Nikon guy and not because Canon is any worse. It’s only because of the Nikon lens I own now. Another fishermen and photographer use a Canon XSi and gets awesome award win shots. So the new Rebel T2i is an awesome two in one camera that captures video and takes still images.  It is a good entry level Digital SLR if you would like to start doing photography or video while fishing.
o Olympus STYLUS TOUGH-8010. Every year they come out with a new version of this camera but its one of the only cameras that you can keep in you pocket when the water is up to your chest. If you want to get just one camera for the beach that takes nice photo's then this is the best bet. It a simple point and shoot with all the options others have but its water proof up to 33 feet underwater, you can drop it 6 feet plus to the ground and not see it brake and its all a lot easier to carry than any on this page. Now I have had two of them and got them at best buy vs. the smaller shops for one reason. Salt water kills electrics and the extended warranty is a must because like I pointed out I have had two of them. Call Bromfield camera in Boston Key customer service; The verdict;A
